Display Settings

Learn about various front-end display options available with WPLoyalty.

This article will help you customize the display of points messages on the product, cart, checkout, thank you and branding pages.

Ensure WPLoyalty plugin is installed and activated. Note that some the settings are exclusive to the PRO version.

General settings:

Rounding mode for points earned:

It is about rounding a mode of points that you earned in a purchase.

For ex: if you earned 55.30 points on your product. Round up would make these a whole point as 56. In round down it would make as 55.

Success order status:

An order status is an easy, visual indication to alert you to bookings that require action

In that, you can set the order status for the purchased product.

Orders have one or more of following statuses such as Pending payment, Processing, on hold, completed, cancelled, refunded, failed and draft.

Unsuccessful order status:

Based on the order status points/ reward will be canceled or removed.

Here is the following unsuccessful order status: Pending payment, Processing, on hold, completed, cancelled, refunded, failed and draft.

Label for the "points" - plural:

It is about customizing the point message in plural. For example: Earn 20 beans for purchasing this product. So Instead of "points" you can use the word as "Beans".

Label for the "point" - singular:

You can customize the point message in singular. For example: Earn 20 bean for purchasing this product. So Instead of "point" you can use the word as "Bean".

Label for the "rewards" - plural:

It is about customizing the reward message in plural. For example: You have 240 Points earned choose your credits. So Instead of "rewards" you can use the word as "credits".

You can customize the reward message in singular. For example: You have 240 Points earned choose your credit. So Instead of "reward" you can use the word as "credit".

You can add the prefix when generating a reward coupon.

For example: WLR.

Prefix for referral code: You can add the prefix when generating a unique referral code for the customer.

Create a customer record in WPLoyalty automatically for following actions: You can add the customer to WPLoyalty instead of importing your existing customers. Example: When you selected "Sign in", then your existing customers will be automatically be added to WPLoyalty customer section.

Force "individual use only" for coupons when creating the rewards for the customers ?: It is about preventing the customers from using other coupons in conjunction with the WPLoyalty reward coupons.

Create a coupon instantly when customers get an instant reward ?

It is about action, or reaction happens or is done without any delay. In this section If you set is as "yes" then you can issue the coupon immediately after a customer earns a coupon reward.

If you have set is as "No" then coupon will get issued at the time of the customer redeeming the reward.

Show an option to return points after converting to a coupon ?: Providing an option to return points after converting them to a coupon can be helpful for customers who accidentally redeemed points or made a mistake while redeeming them. This feature will allow them to return the coupon and get their points back.

Pagination Limit (default limit)

You can set the limit to change the default pagination.

Example: 10

Calculate earn points: Earn points via Point for Purchase Campaign can be calculated either based on the amount before the discount or after the discount. You can choose the option "After discount" in WPLoyalty to calculate points based on the discounted amount.

Capture customer's birthday: Choose the pages where you can capture the customer's birthday while having Birthday Campaign, in addition to the Customer's Reward page. For instance, you can choose to capture the birthday at the checkout page.

Allow customers to edit their birthday after entering it ?: If you set this option to "Yes," customers will have the ability to edit their birthday date at any time. However, if you set it to "No," customers will not have the option to modify their birthday date once it's been entered.

It's important to note that even if customers are allowed to edit or update their birthday date at any time, they will only receive Birthday Points/Rewards once a year.

Tax calculation should be based on:

  • Inherit from Woocommerce - this option will provide points based on the WooCommerce tax settings

  • Including Tax - this setting will offer points inclusive of tax

  • Excluding Tax - this setting will offer points exclusive of tax

Allow earning when loyalty coupon used in cart/checkout ?:

By selecting 'Yes' for this setting, customers can accumulate points even when WPLoyalty coupons are applied during cart or checkout processes.

If set to 'No', points will not be awarded when WPLoyalty coupons are used at cart or checkout."

Display Messages:

Products:

It is important to choose where to show the earned points message on the product page.

Earn points product page message display position available:

  • Before Product Price

  • After Product Price

  • Before Add to Cart

  • After Add to Cart

  • Before Product Title

  • After Product Title.

By selecting the above display position the earned point message will get display on product page.

You can display the earn points in the cart page by enabling the cart page earn message in the settings tab.

  • After Cart items [Normal Cart]

  • Below Cupon [Cart Block]

Redeem Message:

You can display the earn points in the cart page by enabling the cart page redeem message in the settings tab.

By enabling Earn & Redeem message in the settings tab, you can display the earn points & redeem points message in the checkout page.

Thank You Page:

By enabling Thank you page message in the settings tab, you can display the Thank you page message in the different position.

Branding:

Branding is the process of developing a strong, positive perception of a company. Effective branding helps companies differentiate themselves from their competitors and build a loyal customer base.

Earn message & Redeem message:

The branding tab offers customization options for the earn message and redeem message.

The customized message will get display on cart and checkout page.

The thank you page will display the redeem points message when the order has been placed.
